She has been Nicknamed “Downtown's sweetheart,” was the first woman to design a pair of her very own Jordans, and is constantly collaborating with industry leading brands to say the least.
Vashtie stole my heart about 5 years ago when I first saw her appear in Levi Maestro’s “Maestro Knows” season 1 series of videos on Vimeo. I think this video painted a perfect picture of who Vashtie was as a person and most importantly, her hustle! Vashtie really never stops doing dope stuff, but for my first post about her I wanted to give her newest collab, Violette x Puma some serious love. Her collection pulls from “urban music and lifestyle scene of the 80s and 90s and her childhood.” I am really loving the twist on her usual color scheme, unisex aesthetic, and cant get enough of her use of “X.” If you're a tomboy like we are, or as Vashtie would say "Ladyboy," then I am sure you will find a piece in this collection to keep safe in your closet!
